Memorials

As part of their goal to preserve the memory of soldiers who died in combat, members of the 103rd Infantry Division World War II Association collected eulogies (which they referred to as memorials of their fallen counterparts) written by other soldiers or family members of the deceased. Part of a larger collection memorializing the 848 men who died while serving with the 103rd Infantry Division, these memorials offer information about the deceased soldiers and the location of their burial. Many of the memorials also include a photograph of the soldier.

Note: These memorials are unedited and may contain graphic descriptions of wartime experiences.
