Timeline

Through the use of archival materials, including hand drawn maps, oral and written accounts, and unit journals, immersive storymaps have been created to detail where the 103rd division was located and what they were doing throughout World War II. For each day, the storymaps jump from location to location and provide a description of the events either month to month or day to day, depending on the location of the division. These maps depict the division’s time both in the United States and while deployed to Europe. For more information about the individual units that are depicted in the storymaps, please see the Units of the Division page.
